Donny Ray Stevens was my grade school classmate and a very good artist. I admired his ability and worked with him on several school projects. Donny Ray as I knew him was a tall gentle person willing to help anyone. He joined the Marine Corps shortly after high school. I remember learning of his death in Vietnam and I was saddened. He was my friend, we grew up in the same neighborhood. God bless his memory.
