Paul arrived in country 7 Dec 1968. He was killed in action in Phouc Long Province. Also killed in action that day were a medic (Juan) and a soldier called "Snuffy". I am interested in talking with anyone knowing of this.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

Eight soldiers from the 1st Cavalry Division died in Phuoc Long Province on 09 Jan 1969:
  • From 1st Bn, 5th Cavalry:
    • SP4 Juan Bauza-Perez, HHC
    • PFC Wilbur Jerry Siegrist, E Co
    • PFC Ralph Paul Terry, C Co

  • From 2nd Bn, 7th Cavalry:
    • SP4 Rex Wayne Blisard, C Co
    • SP4 Bruce Bradley Hartman, C Co
    • SP4 Ronald Larry Davidson, D Co
    • PFC Stanley Stephen Gaston, D Co
    • SP4 William Miller Riddle, D Co
After PFC Terry's death, his family received a letter from a member of his unit containing the sentences "They killed our little medic, Juan. They shot him in the head. They also killed Snuffy."

"Our little medic, Juan" was Specialist 4 Juan Bauza-Perez; "Snuffy" probably was PFC Wilbur J. Siegrist.
