My father, 1st Lt. Charles M. Fitts, was in the same fatal helicopter crash as Donald Toth. I understand they were good friends.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

Seven men died when a CH-21C helicopter (hull number 55-04220) belonging to the 57th Transportation Company went down. The three crewmen were from the 57th; four passengers were from the 93rd Transportation Company.

On 25 June 1963, the 93rd Transportation Company (Light Helicopter) was redesignated the 121st Aviation Company and later was redesignated as the 121st Assault Helicopter Company (121st AHC).
