Dear Dad,

I just want to thank you for the sacrifice made for our country. I am so very proud to be your son. I never had the opportunity to know you but I know you have watched over me my entire life from Heaven.

I will carry the torch for you so that your sacrifice will not be in vain. Your two grandsons will grow to know what a true hero you are.

I love you and hope that some day we will stand side by side.

Love from your son,
Aaron
