"Chuchi", I didn't know you very well cause I was still a youngster when you so bravely gave your life for our country. I do remember you and David drinking wine out of a double cola bottle and giving me a drink, then laughing at me as I spit it out. There is a museum called "La Historia Society Museo de los Barrios" right here in El Monte and your picture is hanging up in there with all the other veteranos. I make sure to let everyone know that you're my primo, we all miss you and you will always be in our thoughts. I know grandma Juanita, your mom and my mom, as well as various other relatives, have joined you already, and that you all are looking down on us with smiles on your faces. Lots of love always.
