21 Nov 2004 Dabo, I am so excited to get to write a letter about you. It's been such a long time since I saw your smiling face. One thing for sure is that you are not forgotten. I was talking to someone just the other day and somehow we said something about West End. His name was Billy Ray Tatum, I asked him if he knew a Dabo Barton and he said yes! He said that you were his best friend. I told him that you were my first cousin and that we grew up together on Gordon Street. We had a good time talking about you and how sweet and loving you were. Everyone that knew you, loved you. You just had that affect on all of us. I wish you could have lived long enough to have gotten married so that I could have babysat your children. Freedom is not free. Many lives have been lost keeping America the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free. I'll always love you and miss you, Pat
