Dear Lee,

We joined together and fought together but you left me that misty January afternoon. You had everything (or so I thought), I had nothing. I would've traded places with you. I have few pictures, but many memories. I have poured many a beer on your grave, and drank one to your memory.

So long, valiant warrior,
so long, my friend.

I am so sorry we could not keep you alive that day, my friend. We lost so many of you, and your loss continues to cause us to cry after all these years. I remember that day on the Nui Loi only too well. Rest peacefully. Dr. Jekyll, posted 6-29-06.
