09 Apr 2006 My best friend from the block, I think of him all the time. He saw me go to war, and even though he was just 17 he felt he had to follow. I had been a loner and had no education - the Army was my way to get some guidance and I heard the communists had to be stopped. For Bill, he finished school, he was handsome - he would have been the Tom Cruise we see today. He has been in my thoughts for years. If you knew him you liked him. A Note from The Virtual Wall On 12 August 1969 three Combined Action Program Marines from the 1st CAG were killed in action - two from Mobile Training Team 2 and one from CAP Company 1-3.
