27 Aug 2006 Dad, although I don't remember you I will never forget who you are and what you have done in your life. You now have one granddaughter, Jessica; three grandsons, Scott, Christopher, and Kurt; and daughter in-law Donna. You also have at this time one great-granddaughter Brianna born to Jessica. The moving Wall was in Carmel N.Y. a few years ago and your grandson Christopher said "My pop was a very brave man." How right he was. Dad, I LOVE YOU! Your son Glenn Scott Starr dgscks@aol.com

A Note from The Virtual Wall On 30 December 1966 MACV's Advisory Team 24 lost two officers in Kontum Province MAJ Richard H. Lowery, Ellerslie, MD, and CPT Edward I. Starr, Patterson, NY. Captain Starr was commissioned through the Artillery Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, receiving his commission with Class 2-62. Both men are buried in the Arlington National Cemetery.
