REMEMBERED ACROSS THE YEARSby his brother,Marion Chambliss Jr marionchambliss@aol.com |
Jimmy, you were one of the good guys. Your death hurt us all. Rivera was never the same after. I missed those card games in your hootch waiting for the rain to end. Peace, Brother.
From a Bravo company Brother, |
I never got a chance to meet him, but Jimmy was my brother. I remember getting the news, at the age of 4, and crying. I now teach US History and spend extra time on the Vietnam War. As a veteran myself, of the 3rd Infantry Division, I thank all the men and women who served before me and who will come after me. God Bless America.
