The database page for Roy William Cobb
I can remember it as if it were yesteday. That fateful morning when Sergeant First Class Roy Cobb stood up and exclaimed, "Today is my last day in the field, I'm going home!". He actually jumped off his feet and smiled from ear to ear (we had been in the field for a long time). Later that afternoon as we walked into a Viet Cong base camp, and on his last day, SFC Cobb was lost. He was walking second in the file, on his last day, when he should have been walking last. I will never forget him, he is "My Hero Forever".
