Kendell had Midland, Texas, as his home of record, however, he spent most of his life in Odessa. He is buried at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Odessa. Kendall was a career Marine and he is remembered on the Ector County and the Permian Basin Vietnam Memorial located at Midland, Texas. May his sacrifice never be forgotten.
