Larry was my Team Leader in Vietnam. He was also my friend. We shared the laughs, the sweat, the dirt, night ambushes. leeches, and fear that was Vietnam. He was killed when "C" Company was ambushed at Bon Son, in August of 1966. Most of "C" Comapny was lost that day. Larry was from Chicago and just prior to going to Vietnam, he had purchased a new Chevy SS and was so looking forward to going home. He didn't quite make it. I still miss him today. Even though he is gone, my wife and kids know him just as though he were still with us. |
