Brother of Bonnie, Gary, and Marc
Husband of Ruth Ann
Father to Trent and Steve. Grandfather to Mike, Jason, Tyler, Malynn, Joey and Blain.

Many years have passed since Richard's passing.

We miss you but know you smile down on us from the heavens above. Richard was a medic with the 12th Cavalry. He was killed by small arms fire when going to tend to a wounded comrade. His family is very proud of his heroic efforts.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

Two men from Headquarters Company, 1st Bn, 12th Cavalry, were killed in action on 29 June 1969: 2LT Alan M. Horn of Lakewood, California, and SP4 Richard E. Dopp of Cincinnati, Ohio.
