Carl Ealy is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 09W Line 026.

I remember Carl and think of him often. He was my brother's friend, Alden Kaminski, and most of us kids hung out at Sackett school yard on Trowbridge Avenue during the summer. The summer days were long and we played volleyball, baseball etc. Carl's nickname was "Hillbilly." I'm not sure but I think his family was from West Virginia. Carl was good natured, funny, handsome and very "sixties" with his rolled up tee shirt sleeves and cigarettes in his the pocket of his tee. He was a good person with good energy and as a young girl I had a crush on him. I will always remember his caring good nature. He was a fine man. I will always remember those carefree summer days, listening to the radio on the school yard and just having fun.

The point-of-contact for this memorial is
