Thomas was my only brother. I am very proud of him for the sacrifice he made for his country and for his help in preserving life as we know it in America. Tom joined the Marines knowing he would be sent to Viet Nam. As far as I am concerned, he died as a hero. Even after all these years I still miss him greatly.

A memorial from his sister.

Thomas was friendly and kind to everyone he met, hip and with it, Thomas was "cool". He was a guy's guy and the girls loved him.

Thomas was a role model and mentor, the personification of the young American man.

Today he is an American hero and lifelong memory who will always be in my thoughts.

Tommy was an awesome friend and one of the sweetest and yes, cutest guys that I have ever known.

He spent time with me days before leaving for Viet Nam and shared his apprehension with me about going. I will forever remember when I learned that he was not coming home and I treasure the letters that he sent me while there. He has always been a hero to me and the world lost one of it's finest and best the day he was lost to us all.

Love ya Tommy forever and can't wait to see you again someday!!
