PFC Billy Randy Farrior, age 19, son of Lillie Mae (1927-1987) and Jimmy Farrior (1926-1985), was killed in Vietnam on a military mission when a vehicle he was negotiating a curve with overturned. Also killed in the accident was his passenger, PFC Micheal Douglas McAdoo, from Pulaski, Missouri.

PFC Farrior was survived by his wife, Virginia Betty Jo Farrior (now Gentry) and his daughter, Audrey Shannon Farrior. Audrey was born November 21,1970. Billy had arrived in Vietnam on July 29, 1970 so he never got to see her.

At the time when killed, he was survived by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. His father Jimmie passed away November 19, 1985; his mother February 27, 1987. His brother James was born July 19, 1944 in Ooltewah and passed away September 6, 2010 (survived by Starnella, 2 daughters, and 2 sons) and was serving in Vietnam when Billy was killed. James retired to Lakeland Florida from the U.S. Army after serving 24 years of honorable service.

Brother Steve Evan Farrior was born in 1953 and died on October 16, 1911. Billy currently is survived by one brother Donnie, Cleveland, Tennessee and 3 sisters, Connie, Laurie, and Beth.

The family is buried near each other in McDonald Cemetery, Ooltewah, Hamilton County, Tennessee. If you look at the photo of parent's marker, you can see Billy's marker in the background.
