21 Jul 2003 From the MAG-36 Command Chronology: The three men who died were"Between 0230 and 0250 on 26 May 1968, the MAG-36 complex received approximately fifty-two (52) rounds of 82mm mortar. MAG-36 casualties were three (3) Killed in Action and thirty-one (31) Wounded in Action."
These three men, and the other Purple Foxes who served in Vietnam, are remembered by the women who waited at home, whether mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, or friends. Those women, the continue to support today's Purple Foxes of HMM-364 as they serve our country.
