Jim and I were fraternity brothers at the University of Tennessee. Lots of folks from New York and New Jersey used to go to UT - maybe still do - because the tuition was fairly inexpensive. Jim was a fun-loving guy and we had lots of laughs together. He went to Vietnam as an enlisted man and got killed. I got my commission in the Army in 1970, but by the time I was called to active duty they were de-escalating the war and I stayed stateside. Luck of the draw, I guess. Miss you, Jim.
