A Note from The Virtual Wall

On the morning of 19 Oct 1968, during Operation MAUI PEAK, the 3/5 Marines' positions near Dai Hiep (3), on top of An Bang Mountain on the southern bank of the Vu Gia River, suffered grenade and mortar attacks which killed five Marines and seriously wounded 23 more. The dead were
