Where others hesitated, you, under fire and with total disregard for your own personal safety, gave aid to and removed the wounded from a certain death situation. 06 Apr 2003 Thank you, for this wonderful tribute to my brother Jim Lahti. I had never seen that picture before, all I remember of his hair is the army "buzz cuts"! I cannot thank you enough for remembering my brother in this way. I feel better knowing Jim had such a good friend with him in Viet Nam. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service to our great country, and please know that I will never forget your sacrifices. All of you, and our current military members, define the word "hero" - thank you.
