I think about you a lot. We were so much alike,
so young, so innocent,
and we went into the Army at the same time.
I think sometimes it should have been me left behind, not you.
I'll always remember my friend.

This name was a shock, knowing that in no war where soldiers of my family were involved was one ever lost.

I would be interested to check for living relatives thru email.

Born and blessed with no war experiences,
