I was one of Paul's nurses at the 67th Evac in Qui Nhon. We took very good care of him, but his injuries were so severe we couldn't save him, but we tried, and he knew we cared...

A Note from The Virtual WallSP5 Paul M. Nolen was wounded on 14 April 1971 while flying as crew chief aboard UH-1H tail number 68-16351. He died of his wounds later the same day. |
