Don was my big brother. When we were children, he was my protector and champion. When we were teenagers, I thought that he was the smartest, kindest, most perceptive, talented, and witty person in the world. I still do. We had a special relationship, somehow drawing out the best in each other. To the very end, we were each others' closest confidantes. Whatever I am today I owe to his wisdom and encouragement. Words can't express how much love I feel for him.
