The photo above shows Bill Potter (in sunglasses on right) and Jerry Bradley (on left) taken at Phuoc Vinh. The 3 men in the middle, names unknown, are LRRP's, presumably from Co. H, 75th Infantry, which was attached to C Troop, 1/9. This picture was taken just before a mission. I'd like to hear from anyone who might know these LRRP's. The photo, taken 2 or 3 days before Bill's death, was obtained from Jerry Bradley.

William D. Potter was killed in action after serving for just a week with C Troop, 1st of the 9th. He died a soldier, but to me he was Uncle Bill, a young man who enjoyed life, loved his parents, brother, sister, nieces and nephews. It was always his dream to learn how to fly and he saw the Army as that opportunity. We miss Bill very much, but are comforted by his many friends.
