A friend to all in the battery, especially Jake, Marty, Steve, Felix, Sgt. Kline, and all the Communications Section. He died doing his duty and will always be remembered by the members of Charlie Battery. Known as "Gus" by all of his friends.

The photograph was taken March 1967, at Gia Linh, during Operation Highrise.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

C Battery, 1/12th Marines, lost two men as a result of the 27 April attack - LCpl Augustine Resendez was killed, and LCpl Felix F. Soto of Woodside, New York, was wounded. LCpl Soto died of his wounds two days later, on 29 April 1967.
