Danny, been a long time, wish I didn't have to write you in this place. I will always remember all the things we did together, I will never forget how you took me in and taught me the ropes, thank you for that. The first day I came in country, I was lying down, smoking my last cigar, just staring up at the sky and wondering how this would all unfold, and if I would make it to my DEROS. When you walked over to me and asked where my home-town was, I told you "Syracuse" and I saw that smile on your face. I guess from that time on, we were tight, and because of that I'm here now. Rest easy, Danny, I will always be grateful that we met and I will never forget, God speed good buddy and Semper Fi forever...

Danny, I was just thinking of you and was wondering what life would be like if you were still with us. You were my best friend and still are. I miss you. I met your son for the first time almost 2 years ago ... you would be proud of him. He looks like you. I hope to see him again someday. I love you and miss you. Your Sister Debbie
