William Gray Ross is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 57W Line 031.

Gray, you were the love of my life. I'm glad I knew you, you were the best. I've carried your love all these years. Your memories are in my mind like they were only yesterday. I'm proud of you and that you went off to war to fight for us, but wish you could have come back. You did what you thought was best. I waited for you then to come back and I guess I still am, because I've never let go of your love and never will, although I lost you forever.

The men you commanded were as proud of you as I am and we memorialize you with the highest honor. May you never be forgotten. You will always be on my mind and in my heart forever. May God keep you until we can meet again.

I Love you always.
Betty
