Tom was well known in our town for being a caring and giving friend to all who knew him. It is not surprising that he gave himself to our country which he loved so much. My fond and loving memories of him and our time together will be in my heart and mind always. I miss him and yearn for him to this day. Part of me died along with him on the day that he died. God bless you Tom. I will love you forever, Karen Thomas James Tingley, Lance Corporal, United States Marine Corps, is remembered by his comrades of the 3RD RECON BATTALION
