You were taken away from the ones who love you. You will never be forgotten, Tio Poncho.

A Note from The Virtual WallThe Vietnam Helicopter Pilots' Association database says that PFC Valdez was killed in an OH-6 light observation helicopter belonging to A/1/9 Cavalry, but his casualty record in the Central Identification Laboratory Hawaii database and his mortuary record both say he was assigned to the 180th Assault Support Helicopter Company. The available information seems to indicate that he was fatally injured in an incident which did not result in a crash. |
