A Note from The Virtual Wall

The 919th Engineer Company lost three men as a result of an accident on 08 Apr 1970. Two were killed in the accident, and a third died almost a month later from injuries received:
  • SFC David W. Dash, Orangeburg, SC (DoI 05/02/1970);
  • SSG Robert J. Thompson, Danbury, CT; and
  • SP5 Craig A. Van Akin, Ashtabula, OH.
