8 Apr 2003Van, I've never seen a nondrinker before or since who could sit down in the middle of a bunch of drunk poker players and have a better time than any of them. You were a great guy. Thanks for the helicopter flight lessons! You were one the bravest guys I saw in Tay Ninh. Day in and day out you put your life on the line. You were a great friend and a great credit to our country. God bless you, buddy. See you in heaven.
