23 May 2005 I was with Johnny when he got hit. I radioed in for his medevac. I guess I was the last one to talk to him before he died. He was not in pain or anything bad. He passed on kinda quiet, I'm sure he was in shock. Johnny was a good man, a good soldier. He was my friend.
