James William Winkles is my father, but I never got to know him because I was born on January 12th, 1968, and he died June 29th, 1968.

I have pictures of him and my mother, Patricia Freeman Winkles. I know his sisters were named Shirley, Marie, Yvonne, and Ellen ... I'm named after Ellen.

I have the Winkles name and I'm proud to carry that name but I want to know more about my father. I've heard great things about him and I feel in my heart that those stories are true. I'll never know him now but I'd like to know anything you can tell me about him. I wish he was here so I could meet him and talk to him.

Please E-Mail me at lovergirl30004@yahoo.com
with any information you might have that could help me.

I'M VERY PROUD OF HIM SERVING HIS COUNTRY
but I wish "GOD" HAD LEFT HIM HERE WITH US ON EARTH.

Thanks sincerely,
Nonia Ellen Winkles

I never got to know my grandfather, and if anyone knows anything about him, please e-mail me.

I have heard many good things about him, and I know he must have been a very good man.

From his granddaughter,
Kimberly Ellen Winkles
